With Fall right around the corner it's time to start breaking out the delicious seasonal spiced drinks. Now you can go to your local coffee shop and pick up a sugar filled pumpkin flavored drink, or you can make your own seasonal favorites. When it comes to this time of year I love finding new and delicious ways to use sweet potatoes and all the wonderful spices that they pair so fantastic with. This sweet potato pie smoothie is a great way to start the morning or end the day with a nice cool treat.
Here's what you will need!
1 1/2 cups of cubed and frozen sweet potato chunks
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of plant based milk
1 tbs maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp clove
Place all of the ingredients into the blender/ food processor/ blender bottle
Blend on a medium-high speed for 10-45 seconds until a smoothie consistency
