How To Freeze Pumpkin Puree (Vegan, WFPB)

The weather is cooling down, and the smells of pumpkin spiced everything is quickly approaching. Now I love pumpkin spiced treats as much as everyone else, but I don't like all of the unnecessary junk that accompanies it. So I like making my own pumpkin flavored drinks and treats, and the base of these treats is a good pumpkin puree. Most of my pumpkin spiced drinks are a cold drinks, and I use a frozen pumpkin puree to achieve this. So I wanted to get a recipe and video out of how I like to freeze pumpkin puree to use in my pumpkin spiced drinks that I will be sharing very soon.

Here's what you will need!

  • 1 can of 100% pumpkin puree

  • Kitchen spoon or spatula

  • yIce cube tray

Directions:

  1. Open the can of pumpkin puree

  2. Spread pumpkin puree out filling the ice cube tray

  3. Freeze for 8-12 hours

  4. Transfer into a freezer safe container or bag until you are ready to use the frozen pumpkin puree
