I love getting as creative as possible when it comes to planning and preparing holiday meals. But I know that this time of year the schedule can get hectic and it can be really tough to try to put together a nice spread for Thanksgiving or Christmas, especially when you are making sure that everything is going to be vegan and health promoting. That is why I wanted to provide my super simple vegan stuffing recipe. I also wanted to make sure that you could make this recipe with common ingredients that I believe most will have either in the pantry or be easily accessible at the local grocery store. I also have my savory apple stuffing as apart of my WFPB Holiday Recipes that you can also check out to see if it is more your stuffing style. If you go ahead and give this recipe a try, let me know what you think and share a picture on my facebook page of how it turned out for you.
Here's what you will need!
1 vegan & oil free french baguette ( I let mine sit on the counter for a day or two)
2 cups vegetable broth
1 tsp sage
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
Cube the baguette into 1/4" pieces
In a large bowl mix together the bread cubes, vegetable broth and dry spices
Transfer to a glass or non-stick baking dish
Bake at 375 F for 25-35 minutes (Checking at 25 until it is a nice golden brown)
