Easy InstantPot Marinara Sauce (Vegan, Oil Free)

We love Italian dishes in our house, and we really love the taste of a delicious marinara sauce. I just could never find a brand that I liked that was sugar free and did not contain oil. So I decided I would use my instantpot to create a completely whole food plant based marinara sauce.

Here's what you will need!

  • 3 cups of water

  • 12 oz of tomato paste

  • 1 oz or 1/4th cups sun-dried tomatoes

  • 2 tbs maple syrup

  • 1 tbs salt free Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

  • Ninja Blender

  • InstantPot


  1. Place all of your ingredients into the blender

  2. Blend on medium-high speed for 30-45 seconds

  3. Add blended mixture into the instantpot

  4. Set for 10 minutes on the pressure cook setting

  5. Quick release
